Note: This is a Portugal-based position.

What will you do?

From day one, you will be assigned a technical mentor, which is one of our best Backend Engineering. He will give you direction and support throughout your growth journey so that you can be successful with:

• Working in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team to develop microservices in an event-driven architecture based on Python, Apache Spark, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Collaborating with other software engineering teams as well as Product Managers, SREs, DevOps, and IT Engineers to achieve your team’s goals following an Agile and Secure Software Development Lifecycle.
• Growing and applying your skills in Artificial Intelligence by getting data ready to fuel AI / Cognitive Services models.

Our Software Engineers have:

• Solid knowledge of the Software Engineering foundations and patterns.
• Academic or BootCamp experience in the field of Data Engineering
• You should have basic knowledge of Python and Apache Spark, REST APIs, Relational Databases and SQL, batch-oriented schedulers or orchestrators like Apache Airflows, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, etc., and basic DevOps from the developer’s point of view.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English
